Su-Young Jane Choi, DDS, is an experienced dentist serving patients at WA Dental in Federal Way, Washington.
Dr. Choi was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and raised in South Korea in a family of two children. She graduated cum laude in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. After graduation, Dr. Choi moved to New York and received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the New York University College of Dentistry in New York City, New York.
Throughout dental school, she developed a deep commitment and appreciation for caring for the underserved by participating in dental mission trips. As a member of a nonprofit Christian organization named SOMA, Dr. Choi treated numerous underprivileged patients in Oaxaca, Mexico.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Choi enjoys listening to music, watching movies, cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys outdoor activities, like hiking, running, and camping.

Junkyung Lee, DMD, is a compassionate general dentist at University Place Smiles in University Place, Washington. After graduating from a competitive dental school in the Northwest, she moved to Washington to be close to her family and friends.
Dr. Lee chose to work in the field of dentistry to transform the lives of patients and provide superior oral health care for communities in need. She loves educating her patients about preventive dentistry and oral hygiene, as well as giving them the healthy, gorgeous smiles of their dreams.

Hanbit Chi, DDS, is a skilled general dentist at University Place Smiles in University Place, Washington. He has a professional background in pharmacy, in addition to dentistry, as well as many years of experience caring for patients of all ages.
After earning his bachelor’s degree, Dr. Chi received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in Loma Linda, California. Brian Han, DMD, is a skilled dentist at South Hill Family Dentistry in Puyallup, Washington. He practices dentistry with a strong emphasis on patient well-being.
After graduating at the top of his class from Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry in Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Han moved to Alaska to serve those in need. During his four-year stay in Alaska, he has treated thousands of underserved patients through his office and volunteer services. This invaluable experience allowed him to gain insight into treating patients from different socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Phong Dang, DDS, practices general dentistry at Smile Forever Dental in Tacoma, Washington. Dr. Dang is an expert dentist and dental hygienist who strives to provide quality dentistry to patients of all ages. Dr. Dang moved to the state of Washington from Vietnam when he was just four years old. After graduating high school, he attended the University of Washington, where heearned both his Bachelor of Science degree and Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Because of his strong passion for helping people, Dr. Dang decided to open his own practice, Smile Forever Dental, in the Puget Sound area of Tacoma, Washington.

As the owner of Denture Services Northwest Inc. in Lakewood, Washington, David Hill, DPD, BA has developed an expertise in designing, constructing, fitting, and adjusting complete and removable partial dentures for a broad client base.
Before becoming a licensed denturist in 1996, David served 16 years in the United States Navy as a dental technician. Subsequently, he earned a bachelor’s degree in human services from Ashford University.
Through his practice at Denture Services Northwest, David gives back to the community by reaching out to the less fortunate through several state programs and charities to donate his talents to those who can’t afford dentures.
David has been a denturist since 1996 and an active member of the Washington Denturist Association, but he goes far beyond that occupation. David is also a licensed interfaith minister who enjoys volunteering his time and emotional and spiritual support to those seeking guidance.
When he’s not working at Denture Services Northwest or participating in volunteer programs, David enjoys art and photography as well as spending time with his six children and eight grandchildren.
Joseph (JB) Kimmel, RDA, LD combines his vast technical skills with compassionate and personalized care to produce long-lasting, natural-looking smiles for his patients at Denture Services Northwest Inc. in Lakewood, Washington.
A licensed denturist, JB fulfilled a passion he recognized in his early years when he entered the field of dentistry, beginning as a dental assistant in 2007. After working in community health care, JB worked as a dental assistant for the State of Washington for more than six years.
JB then was accepted to the Bates Denturist Program. During his third quarter at Bates, he started interning at Denture Services Northwest. Before completing an externship at Denture Services Northwest, JB passed his state boards in April 2017 and is now an associate licensed denturist at the practice.
JB enjoys challenging cases and loves nothing more than seeing the positive results he produces for his patients. A Puget Sound native, JB lives with his wife, Sarah, in Olympia. In his spare time, he enjoys snowboarding, golf, and spending time with friends and family.
Seung Jae (David) Juong, DMD, is a skilled dentist offering a range of treatments and services to families in Graham, Washington. At Frontier Family Dental, Dr. Juong encourages patients to make their oral health a priority, starting with routine dental examinations in a warm and welcoming office.
Dr. Juong attended Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in biology. He then attended dental school at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania, where he also completed an advanced education in general dentistry residency. Early in his career, he practiced at Jefferson Dental Clinics in Lewisville, Texas, as well as at Arte Dental in McKinney, Texas.
At Frontier Family Dental, Dr. Juong enjoys seeing his patients’ oral health thrive. He routinely provides treatments like root canal therapy and fillings in addition to more complex restorations involving implants, crowns, and bridges.
Dr. Juong displays a clear passion for his career in everyday practice at Frontier Family Dental. In the past, he has attended missionary trips in the Philippines to provide free oral health care to underserved populations.

Dr. Khatkar received her Bachelor Degree of Phychology at the University of Washington, She later got her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Washington School of Dentistry.
She worked in Southern Oregon for a year right after dental school. After that year, she returned to the south puget sound area and has been here ever since. She chose the field of dentistry becasue she wanted a career where she could help people and in a way build a relationship with them. She also enjoys working with her hands and being able to create a plan for each patient and any needs they require.
When Dr. Khatkar is not in the office, she enjoys staying active by working out, traveling and exploring the PNW by trying new local restraunts.

Residency- and fellowship-trained in TMJ, orofacial pain disorders, and dental sleep medicine, Jason Pehling, DDS, MS, has a dental practice limited to the treatment of TMD, facial pain and dental sleep medicine at the TMJ Orofacial Disorders Center in Seattle. He specializes in temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ), orofacial pain, and dental sleep medicine.
Dr. Pehling is a Northwest native and attended the Bellevue Christian School where he was a two-time state wrestling champion. Dr. Pehling obtained an athletic scholarship and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Oregon. Additionally he received a Bachelor of Science and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the prestigious University of California, San Francisco. Following that, he completed a Master of Science, an NIH sponsored Postdoctoral Pain Fellowship, and a residency in TMJ and orofacial pain from the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Pehling is board-certified by the American Board of Craniofacial Pain and the American Board of Craniofacial Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Pehling is a featured expert in the local and national media. Dr. Pehling was the first dentist in the Northwest trained in the use of the Biomet Ultrathin TMJ Arthroscope and the use of Botox® injections for the treatment of bruxism and jaw and facial pain. In his over 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Pehling has placed over 6000 functional oral appliances.
Dr. Pehling has had numerous publications, research grants and awards, including multiple years as the Best Dentist Seattle Magazine Award, and the Best Dentist Seattle Metropolitan Magazine Award.
Active in his field, Dr. Pehling is a fellow of several prestigious organizations, such as the American Academy of Orofacial Pain and the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain. He is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the American Dental Association, the Washington Dental Association, and the Seattle-King County Dental Association. He is on the board of Directors for theAmerican Board of Craniofacial Pain.
Away from the dental office, Dr. Pehling enjoys active outdoor activities with his family, such as stand-up paddle boarding, waterskiing, snow skiing, and mountaineering.
