She was heavily involved in study clubs and advanced continuing education and became inspired by the specialists she had the opportunity to work with.

Fascinated with the connection between oral and systemic health and determined to further her education, Dr. Westervelt obtained her specialty certificate in periodontics from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Dr. Westervelt is passionate about helping her community by improving each patient’s overall health through ideal periodontal health.
