Starting in July of 2024 Dr. Lew will be retiring from private practice and taking on a teaching role at New York University College of Dentistry in September. Dr. Spencer Lew is a New York City native. He received his B.A. degree in biology from Queens College  and his D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree from Columbia University. After completing a one year residency in general dentistry at Lenox Hill Hospital, Dr. Lew returned to Columbia Dental School to complete the AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) program. He then spent two years in the sedation and anesthesia training program at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.

Dr. Lew served as a clinical instructor on the faculty of the New York University College of Dentistry from 1997 – 1999. He became a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry in 2001.

Dr. Azita Halary has expertise in diagnosing and treating various dental conditions in order to treat every patient's unique situation. Dr. Halary also gives her patients diet and lifestyle recommendations in order to maintain lifelong oral health. 

Dr. Halary earned received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland in Baltimore and completed her general practice residency here in NYC at Harlem Hospital. 

Dr. Halary is experienced in a wide array of dental procedures; including tooth extractions (ie. Wisdom Teeth), dentures, implants, and restorative works such as fillings, crowns and veneers. 

Dr. Raysa Perez first discovered her passion for dentistry fairly early in life, when she started a position as a dental assistant at the age of 17 in her home country, the Dominican Republic. That summer, her mother was involved in a serious car accident, and it affected her mother's confidence and self-esteem. As her mother underwent treatment, Dr. Perez was both a witness and participant in the magical transformation that returned the smile to her mother's face. It was during this time that she realized that dentistry was the profession she wanted to pursue. It was an extraordinary place where art and science converged to change lives.

In 2004 she completed the dental program and was honored to work side by side with the peers she had admired, in the office where her journey began.

Dr. Perez moved to the United States to begin a new journey; the passion to continue her career required resilience as she adapted to a new culture and language. She was determined to remain a dentist but knew she would need to earn accreditation all over again in her new home country. She began to work as a full-time employee in NY in NJ.

After an arduous period of studying, she passed the national board exams. She was subsequently accepted to Columbia University, where she completed her residency at NY Presbyterian Hospital. 

In her personal time, Dr. Perez enjoys spending time with her family and friends and is an active member of her church community. She loves to spend time reading the Bible and is thankful that she can fulfill her calling to serve others through her professional role as a dentist.

Yohan Kim, DMD, FICOI, practices general, cosmetic and implantation dentistry at Madison Dental Loft located in the Midtown South area of Manhattan in New York City.
