We talked about a multitude of events & I felt comfortable opening up in a way I never have before. It was a safe non- judgemental space. Courtney is incredible.”
As both a client and counselor, I know how important it is to be in therapy with someone you trust. I'd be honored to create a meaningful and insightful therapeutic relationship with you. I work with young adults and teens who strive to learn about things like depression, anxiety, authentic identity establishment, self-harm, suicide prevention, LGBTQ+ concerns, and more.
I counsel with a collaborative and existential approach. In other words, I use my genuine curiosity to learn about what gives your life meaning. While we're on this road together, you're in the driver's seat; I'll work alongside you to help utilize your strengths and find clarity as we look through the past, focus on the present, and head into the future.
I'm in awe of the unique strengths and differences people bring to sessions. I can't wait to see what makes you, you.
Geographically I have lived throughout the U.S. I have also lived through cultural and social changes that parallel and surpass those we are currently experiencing. My education includes anthropology, accounting, and counseling. Professionally I have worked with hospice, taught at a junior college, 35 years in the business world, and now focus my passions in counseling. My varied experiences have taught me two critical lessons - the importance of the individual's voice and the strength of the individual.
I am drawn to working with trauma, depression, anxiety, issues of relationship (people, appearance, LGBTQ+), life transitions, and simple navigation of life's daily challenges. We not only address the challenges but seek to understand the "why" of various tools, resources, and approaches. You live your life outside of the therapy session and deserve to have the skills to do so successfully.
I am Jade Williams, and I am so glad you're here. I am an LPCC with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals navigate life's ups and downs, and I am here to offer you a warm and inviting space to explore your inner world. My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and a deep respect for your unique journey. I strive to provide my clients with tools and insights to become the best version of themselves. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship issues, I am here to walk alongside you, providing support and guidance every step of the way. Together we will work towards healing and growth, helping you discover your inner strength and resilience. I am excited to be a part of your journey towards a brighter, more fulfilling life.
