I am Jean Harkreader (She/Her). As a counselor I work with a variety of difficulties including, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Grief, Bipolar, Neurodiversity, Relationships, and Gender Dysphoria. Melanie E. Morris, LPC, LAC, is a licensed professional and addiction counselor at Magnolia Medical Group, which has locations in Denver and Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
Melanie is a graduate of Grand Canyon University with a Master of Science in professional counseling and a Master of Science in addiction counseling. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in counselor education and supervision from Grand Canyon University.
Melanie has had the opportunity to work with individuals ranging in age from adolescents to adults. She has provided services in outpatient, inpatient, crisis management, nonprofit, and private practice settings. Her focus is trauma and addiction, for which she utilizes EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and AccuDetox. Melanie is also trained to facilitate DUI classes using Driving With Care and the Change Company curriculums. Melanie is a member of several professional organizations which provide her with continuing education and professional development.
Melanie believes everyone is capable of change, and she wants to provide a safe space for her clients to explore the possibilities. In her spare time, she loves to hike, bike, camp, snowboard, and learn photography. She spends time with her family and friends and loves walking her fur-baby Milo!
