Raised in a family of doctors, Magdy S. Guirguis was always destined to be in the medical field. After years as a high school and college athlete and a 35-year career in volleyball as a player and a coach, Dr. Guirguis sustained many injuries, inspiring him to delve into the healing arts. His interest stemmed from his desire not only to relieve the pain but also to practice healthiness in his daily life.

Shortly after graduating from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles in 1988, Dr. Guirguis founded Advanced Chiropractic Center in 1991. Dr. Nazarian completed his doctorate of chiropractic at Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in Whittier, California. Dr. Yoshida has helped train and treat boxing champions and served as a team doctor for the professional basketball team in Japan. She has dedicated her life to learning holistic medicine practices, including acupuncture and chiropractic. 

In 1989, Dr. Yoshia graduated from the Meiji College of Oriental Medicine in San Francisco, California. In 1999, she graduated from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic School in California. Dr. Yoshia was an instructor at the Southern California University of Health Sciences in Whittier, California, and supervising doctor/clinician for ten years.

Dr. Yoshida enjoys skiing and snowboarding. She used to be a gymnast and figure skater and has been very active her entire life, including playing soccer. She has four boys who are involved in karate and soccer.

Dennis Buckley, DC, is an experienced chiropractor and clinical director at Health Advantage Physical Medicine in Pasadena, California.

In 1993, Dr. Buckley graduated with honors from Southern California University of Health Sciences, Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in Whittier, California. 

After graduating, he started practicing in Pasadena and worked with Dr. Michael Budincich for 11 years. Dr. Buckley moved to the new Los Angeles College of Chiropractic Pasadena clinic and worked as a private practitioner and clinician. 

In March 2009, he started The Health Advantage Health and Wellness Center. In January 2015, the Health Advantage Health and Wellness Center evolved into Health Advantage Physical Medicine. 

Dr. Buckley’s passion as a chiropractor extends beyond the clinic.
