This multidisciplinary approach enables the providers to get to the root of their patients’ pain, injury, or illness to optimize their overall health. The practice is focused on eliminating unnecessary medications and surgery to help their patients achieve their wellness goals. Health Atlast was founded by Stephanie Higashi, DC, and Wayne Higashi, DC, ATC, with the vision of creating clinics that provide the type of care that they would personally want for themselves and their family. They had seen too many patients with a messy medical history of multiple prescriptions and treatment plans designed by specialists who weren’t communicating with one another. They believed that the best care was only attainable with everyone working in sync, and began assembling a team of providers to deliver harmonious and high-tech health care under a unified banner. Begin the journey toward better health today by calling one of Health Atlast’s convenient locations or scheduling an appointment online.

Dave Carry, DC, is an experienced chiropractor at Goodlife Physical Medicine, with three Los Angeles locations in Redondo Beach, El Segundo, and Torrance, California. Growing up, his parents both worked in the health care system, which inspired him to pursue a career in which he could help people.
Dr. Carry graduated from Western University (formerly the University of Western Ontario) in Canada with a Bachelor of Science in health sciences. While completing his undergraduate degree, he also worked at a hospital and noticed the health care system primarily treated sick patients but rarely educated people on healthy living habits. This inspired him to pursue chiropractic care, which emphasizes a proactive approach to health. Dr. Carry then earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from Southern California University of Health Sciences in Whittier, California.
At Goodlife Physical Medicine, Dr. Carry strives to educate his patients on the most natural and effective ways to achieve pain relief, spinal correction methods, and health care in general. He treats a variety of acute and chronic pain, disc and nerve conditions, and work, sports, or automobile injuries. He utilizes a combination of adjustment techniques, including stretching, strengthening and postural exercises, nutritional advice, and X-ray analysis to screen for potential health risks. He often gives lectures to large corporations as well as small groups on various wellness topics and is a well-known speaker in the community. His personal goal is to make the South Bay the healthiest place to live in the United States.
Outside of work, Dr. Carry is an avid hockey player and fan. He enjoys being physically active and can often be found playing beach volleyball or surfing.
