Dr. Saadi earned his medical degree from the University of Tripoli in Tripoli, Libya, graduating Cum Laude. He practiced medicine for several years before pursuing postdoctoral cardiovascular training in the United Kingdom. He then joined the Emory University Cardiovascular Research Laboratory in Atlanta, Georgia.
From there, he worked as a research scientist for the National Institutes of Health (NIH-NIA) cardiovascular unit in Baltimore, Maryland, while also completing a residency in internal medicine in the MedStar system.
