He then completed his fellowship in General and Interventional Cardiology at Michigan State University / Providence Providence-Park Hospitals in Detroit, MI. Dr. Sarsam also specializes in advanced heart failure.

Upon graduating, he completed his internal medicine internship and residency at the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was nominated for chief resident. He then completed a cardiovascular medicine fellowship at the University of California, San Diego.
Dr. Kim emphasizes a high level of communication and places huge importance on trust and rapport. As a kind and caring physician, he focuses on patients’ overall health and well-being. He is well-trained in using the most up-to-date therapies to treat all spectrums of heart disease.
