Dr. Sarsam received his medical education at the University of Baghdad / College of Medicine in Iraq. Following the second Gulf War, he moved to the United States and attended the Wayne State University / Detroit Medical Center where he completed his Internal Medicine Residency. He then completed his fellowship in General and Interventional Cardiology at Michigan State University / Providence Providence-Park Hospitals in Detroit, MI. Dr. Sarsam also specializes in advanced heart failure.
Rahul Gaglani, MD, is a board-certified interventional and general cardiologist serving patients at Core Cardiology in Murrieta and Temecula, California. He specializes in percutaneous interventions of the coronary arteries (radial approach) and structural heart disease intervention (atrial septal defects, patent foramen ovale, aortic stenosis, and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy).
Dr. Gaglani graduated from the Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Sciences in New Brunswick, New Jersey, with a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry with a concentration in economics. He then earned his Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine. Upon graduating, he completed his internal medicine residency at Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Center and his fellowships in general and interventional cardiology at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, both in New York City. Parham Parto, MD, MPH, FACC, is an interventional cardiologist at Parto Heart & Vascular in Los Angeles and Newport Beach, California, providing care for patients throughout Southern California. Dr. Parto is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine.

Arjun Makam, DO FACC, is a board-certified interventional cardiologist and a partner physician of Makam Medical in Anaheim, California. Brenton Bauer, MD, is a board-certified internist and cardiologist at COR Healthcare in Los Angeles. He sees patients at the Torrance, Redondo Beach and El Segundo offices in addition to the cardiology department at Torrance Memorial Medical Center. He specializes in general cardiology, cardio-oncology, and advanced cardiac imaging.

In his leisure time, Dr. Bauer loves traveling the world with his wife and junior high sweetheart. They particularly enjoy experiencing different cultures, trying amazing food, and learning different languages (to which he is fluent in English and Spanish and working on others including Italian).
Eric Castleman, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist and internist at COR Healthcare Medical Associates in Los Angeles. He currently sees patients at the practice’s locations in Torrance and Redondo Beach, California, where he brings more than 35 years of experience specializing in general cardiology, and adult congenital heart disease.
Dr. Castleman earned his medical degree at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City before moving to California for his medical training. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Medical Center and a cardiology fellowship from UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange, California.
