Rachel began her journey in healthcare by studying Western Medicine during her undergraduate years. She gained valuable experience shadowing registered nurses in renowned Boston hospitals, including Mass General, Brigham and Women’s, and Beth Israel Deaconess. She graduated from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine with a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and is certified as a Diplomat of Acupuncture, licensed to practice in the field.
Rachel is skilled in various healing modalities, including Japanese Acupuncture, Shiatsu Meridian Therapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, cupping, Gua Sha, moxibustion, and music/sound healing using the monochord. Her special interests include reducing stress and feelings of anxiousness, promoting general well-being, calming the nervous system, alleviating chronic and acute pain, and improving digestive health.
Celine Chang embraces traditional acupuncture with her own innovation and objective diagnosis method. Celine practices the technique of scalp acupuncture, which restores the strength of a person’s body, muscle, organs, and tissues efficiently and usually delivers immediate positive effects. She treated many patients who suffered from allergies, sports injuries, sleeping disorders, digestion issues, and post-menopausal symptoms. She also collaborated with a neurosurgeon to develop an acupuncture program that improved patients’ post-surgery recovery and pain management. In July 2021, she worked at the meadows of Wickenburg in Sunnyvale, an addiction recovery and mental health outpatient center. She treated the patient with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and PTSD and received considerable positive feedback from the patients and staff. Outside the office, Celine likes to travel, plays flute with her daughters, and enjoys cooking based on oriental medicine healing philosophy.
