Jeremy Frieling is a licensed acupuncturist and co-owner of Zen Attitude Acupuncture, located in Seattle, WA. He is a graduate of Bastyr University, where he earned a Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2016. Jeremy is also a member of both the Clinical and Didactic Adjunct Faculty at Bastyr University, where he has taught and mentored students since 2023. He currently supervises clinical training at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health and teaches courses such as Introduction to Chinese Herbal Medicine and Introduction to Chinese Herbal Formulas. His work at Bastyr reflects his dedication to advancing the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and mentoring the next generation of practitioners.
Jeremy’s journey to becoming a TCM practitioner was uniquely personal and circuitous, yet always aligned with his passion for promoting wellness. In 2006, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies from Western Washington University, with minors in Mandarin Chinese, History, and Anthropology. After graduation, Jeremy sought a way to blend his love of Chinese culture with his drive to make his community a healthier and happier place.
One afternoon, a conversation over tea with a close friend reignited his curiosity about acupuncture and TCM, particularly after recalling a course he had taken during his undergraduate studies on the history and evolution of Chinese medicine. This led him to pursue his studies at Bastyr University, where his passion for healing and wellness was fully realized.
Jeremy specializes in pain management, women’s health, and mental/emotional well-being. He tailors each treatment plan to meet the unique needs and goals of his patients, combining the traditional modalities of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, manual therapy, food as medicine, and lifestyle coaching. Additionally, Jeremy integrates modern techniques, such as tuning forks, cold laser therapy, electro-acupuncture, and point injection therapy, to enhance his patients' care.
In 2016, Jeremy completed a three-week intensive internship at one of Shanghai’s most respected Traditional Chinese Medicine hospitals. There, he witnessed the seamless integration of Eastern and Western medical approaches, an experience that continues to inform his practice as he strives to bridge the gap between these philosophies to meet patients where they are in their journey to healing.
When he’s not practicing, Jeremy enjoys outdoor adventures in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with his golden doodle, Teddy. Some of his favorite activities include disc golf, hiking, and camping.
Jeremy is also one of Zen Attitude Acupuncture’s providers for the Shot Bar, offering point injection therapy to support patient wellness.

Andrea believes in taking a holistic approach to healing that puts the patient at the center of their care team. Through active listening and a genuine curiosity for peoples’ life stories, patients can expect a treatment that is individualized to meet them where they are at. Knowing that healing can take more than one approach, treatments using multiple Traditional Chinese medicine modalities are possible (ex. Cupping, guasha, tuina, e-stim, moxa). Lifestyle and/or nutritional consultations are also offered.
Andrea discovered Traditional Chinese medicine after an injury, and experienced both relief and resolution of their pain. The versatility of the medicine was further revealed after seeing providers for different types of issues over time.
Andrea has a background in science and medicine, with a degree in neuroscience from the University of Vermont, and a master’s degree in acupuncture from the Colorado Chinese Medicine University of Denver, Colorado. Andrea has also spent much of their life in service to others, including holding professional positions in the food, hospitality, healthcare and housing sectors.
Andrea is an avid billiards player and figure skater who enjoys practicing taijiquan, the creative arts and spending time outdoors.
