Sarah is Board Certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and the National Association of Detox Acupuncture. She has a Master’s degree in Acupuncture from The Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine. In addition to her training as an acupuncturist, Sarah holds a doctorate in nutrition research from Tufts University. Sarah specializes in the treatment of pain, orthopedics, anxiety and women’s health. In addition to acupuncture, Sarah offers cupping and dry needling (trigger point) acupuncture services to help accelerate patient healing.
Yong Shin was raised with many physicians in his family, his father being an ENT(otolaryngologist) physician who inspired him to be a healthcare professional. Yong had a special interest in holistic medicine since college. He started his career as herbs and supplements consultant. Soon he earned the acupuncture and herbs degree in California. After graduation, he was trained for many pain symptoms and treatments under Eastern and Western doctors. Yong firmly believes that acupuncture can be the missing puzzle piece of the pain management for clients that are seeking a breakthrough solution.
Scott is a Board Certified NCCAOM Acupuncturist having received his Masters in Acupuncture in 2012 from the NY College of Health Professionals. Scott continues to extensively study East Asian Medicine in order to further his ability to treat his patients with the more modern research being done in the field. He holds an additional degree from The Institute of Classical Asian Studies (ICAS) in Medical Qi Gong. He continues his studies with Dr. Jackowicz.
Jason is Board Certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He earned his Master’s Degree in Chinese Medicine from the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Seattle. He believes that the balance between body, mind, and spirit help us achieve optimal health. Robb is a born-and-raised Virginian. He is nationally certified to practice acupuncture by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and licensed to practice in Virginia by the Virginia Board of Medicine. A life-long interest in herbal medicine and holistic healing modalities, along with a study of Chinese marital arts in his teens, led him to investigate Traditional Chinese Medicine. After exploring its benefits as a patient, he decided to pursue a career path in service to the health and wellbeing of others. He received a B.A. in Psychology from Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, MN, and a Master's of Chinese Medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN. Robb also completed a course of study at Henan University of Chinese Medicine in Zhengzhou, China. He lives in Richmond with his wife Emily and spirited rescue dog Indie Anna. While skating, she fell and broke her neck, which led to her decision to pursue a career in chiropractic medicine.
Over the years, Dr. Lexi has incurred many injuries, including but not limited to three spinal fractures, eleven rib fractures, a hip labral tear and repair, and a clavicle fracture. She believes being a high-level athlete who has experienced and recovered from all these injuries allows her to relate to and understand her patients on a deeper level.
